Gas-Gate Expanded?

From Zozymus, @ the comment section of the Times Leader
In a letter from Luzerne County District Attorney Stephanie Salavantis, to City Councilman Tony George, Salavantis states: The Gas investigation has expanded.

Her exact words:
“The agents have advised that their work on the fuel investigation has crossed over into other investigations in the city of Wilkes-Barre which greatly expanded the scope of necessary work. You will recall the serious incidents that occurred surrounding the credit union investigation. Not only did that matter result in several arrests, but also the life of an employee was tragically lost. Neither the Federal authorities nor my office takes these incidents lightly. I appreciate the concerns of Councilman George. I can assure you on behalf of my office and also on behalf of the agents with whom we are working, the investigation remains ongoing, interviews relating to same are continuing and we look forward to reporting the conclusion of same.”

  • So Gas-Gate and the Credit Union Scandal cross paths? HOW?

According to the Times Leader:
In March federal authorities also turned their focus on the credit union. They served a subpoena for financial records on the credit union that leases space on the first floor of City Hall. It is not a city department. James Payne, chief executive officer and manager of the credit union, took his own life inside his Bear Creek Township home on March 10, approximately a week after the subpoena was served.

In August, Amanda Magda, the credit union’s assistant manager and Payne’s niece, was among five people indicted as a result of an investigation into dirty loans. Former city police officer Tino Ninotti, city police officer Jason Anthony, who is suspended from the department without pay, former city towing contractor Leo A. Glodzik III and credit union member Jeffrey Serafin also were named in the indictments.

  • So if the credit union scandal involved dirty loans involving our favorite villain/towing contractor, Leo (cash thief, cop briber) Glodzik III, how could this relate to Gas-Gate? Was Leo filing his LAG truck(s) at the city pumps?, and if so, will someone please email me the photos?

Mayor calls Parking Attendant a “Thief”

Now that’s rich…. King Lie-A-Ton (known city gas thief) having the nerve to call city parking enforcement attendant Walker a thief, after a Price Chopper employee called the city, and requested a sting be set up, which later found that Walker was pilfering change from the meter collection, and turning it in for cash at the Edwardsville Price Chopper according to the WBPD.

After all Leighton was pilfering gas from the city pumps for years, and nothing happened to him.

Well unless you call the taxpayers billboard something.

After nearly $4,000 went missing, and nobody at city hall noticed. One has to wonder if not for the actions of the honest hard working Price Chopper employee, would Walker have ever been caught?

Is anyone minding the store in Wilkes-Barre City?

Lie-A-Ton's exact words: “I am extremely angry and disappointed that a city employee was found stealing government funds,” Leighton said. “As mayor, it is imperative that I can trust all city employees to perform their duties in a legal and professional manner. The actions of this particular individual are not a reflection of all city employees. The City of Wilkes-Barre has good, trusted employees and this incident should not tarnish the image of the law abiding individuals who serve the city.”

HA HA HA HA: "As mayor, it is imperative that I can trust all city employees" he said, How about As mayor  it is imperative that we (the taxpayers) can trust YOU!!!!

FREE Vacation Time

Wake Up Wilkes Barre has learned that City Controller: Kathy Kane, and City Councilman: (Bobblehead) Bill
Barrett are in Austin TX, soaking up the sun, and posting their escapades on Facebook, while you the taxpayers, pay for their lavish trips. Trust me they fly FIRST CLASS, and NEVER stay at the Motel 6….. Then there is a meal allowance, even though the National League of Cities provides meals.

For those of you who don’t know, Wilkes-Barre City has a long standing tradition of sending city officials, (several at a time) on taxpayer funded junkets, known as the National League of Cities.

Now don’t get me wrong many, many other cities also send city officials, such as Scranton, and Hazleton, should they choose to go (BUT on their OWN dime).

YOU the Wilkes-Barre City Taxpayers, year after year, pay for this utterly useless junket (well to the average taxpayers it’s useless). To the corrupt city official, it’s a chance to vacation in the host city, (this year Austin, TX), make friends in high places, all FREE, well FREE for them.  These trips usually cost the taxpayers thousands each year, and to date, nothing notable has resulted. Well except the bill.

Is it really any wonder the city has gone from $60 Million to $130 Million in debt under this corrupt regime?

Four More Years, of Hell

As stated by Wake Up Wilkes Barre months ago, King Lie-A-Ton will seek a 4th term.

Apparently he hasn’t screwed over the taxpayers hard enough yet, or perhaps he found out that a few of you, and you know who you are, simply haven’t felt his wrath yet, so he will require an additional 4 years, to screw you too.

It is rumored that his campaign slogan with change from “Experienced Leadership” to “I need four more years to cover my tracks”.

For those of you who don’t vote for whatever reason, please remember this, without you there are only two types of voters in Wilkes-Barre,

Type One: Those that vote for corruption: Likely because they in some way benefit from this corrupt regime. Examples: Family member works for City, County, School District, or contractor of any of those, or they are simply On The Take themselves.

Type Two: Those that vote against corruption: Likely because they are good, honest, taxpaying citizens, who are not politically connected, and hate seeing their city become the cesspool it has become under The Lie-A-Ton Regime.

TRUTH: Unfortunately corruption has the majority, and has for some time. Regardless of the above Type One or Type Two, neither side is able to attract the other side’s voters. Sure there are one or two uninformed voters mixed in who simply don’t know who they are voting for when they go into the polls, but that number is so small it wouldn’t matter how it shifted.

So if we truly want to change Wilkes-Barre we need to Wake Up Wilkes Barre, by getting to the non-voters, and making them understand, that we (Type Two Voters) are outnumbered, and need them to step up, or shut up. They CANNOT just sit and bitch on Facebook, they MUST vote this crooked, lying, gas thieving, tax raising, bastard out of office.

Just a few Lie-A-Ton Highlights:
  • Gas Gate: Mayor Leighton used city owned gas for his personal use, that is still under federal investigation.
  • Security System Gate: Mayor Leighton, and buddy J.J. Murphy had $3,000 home security systems installed in their homes, and billed the city for not only the systems, but the $30 per mo monitoring service (until caught that is)
  • Parking Authority Gate: Mayor Leighton and J.J. Murphy tried leasing out the parking authority for quick cash, that resulted in hundreds of thousands in fees, and an ongoing federal investigation.
  • Hired his own kids: Mayor Leighton used his summer jobs program to hire his one children on the taxpayers dime.
  • Doubled city debt: The city was nearly $60 Million in debt when Leighton took office as mayor, as of this months refinance the city is now estimated to be over $130 Million and rising.

Now onto Lie-A-Ton's election strategy
  • Democratic Primary: Lie-A-Ton vs. Tony George? No contest, so ask your Bobblehead fried George Brown to run, and have him ask his buddy/neighbor Brian Kelly to also run. WHY?  Remember the Two Types? Corruption votes for corruption or in this case Leighton. The others will split between George, Brown, and Kelly, allowing Lie-A-Ton to sail to victory.
  • November General Election: If Lie-A-Ton is facing a true Republican challenger he would likely encounter a problem, but as luck would have it, Bobblehead Buddy Kelly is (in his words according to the Citizens Voice): "Kelly said he would investigate a possible write-in campaign on the Republican line", Hum, I wonder why?

Citizens Voice Idiotic Endorsement

For those of you still reading this RAG (The Citizens Voice) I’m hoping you’re not as dumb as they (the editorial board) thinks you are.

In their fast dash to push a Good O’l Boy, (Eddie Day Pashinski) they (The Citizens Voice) stated:

State House in the 121st District

Now in his second term, state Rep. Eddie Day Pashinski, D-Wilkes-Barre, has grown into the role of a state legislator.

The retired music teacher is plain-spoken, informed and unafraid to point out the inconsistencies in what passes for conventional wisdom in Harrisburg.

In his interview with The Citizens’ Voice Editorial Board, Pashinski bucked political trends by opposing H.B./S.B. 76, which would replace school property taxes with increased income and sales taxes, and offered the most astute analysis as to why the bill would not work and why it will likely fade away once election season is over.

His opponent, Libertarian Betsy Summers, has a good grasp of the issues facing Pennsylvania and firm ideas about how to address them, but her views have little widespread appeal.

Pashinski is a good fit for the 121st District and deserves a third term.

WAKE UP CITIZENS VOICE

Pashinski was first elected to his perch in 2006 defeating Christine Katsock, and took office in 2007 as stated on the states website, and as this is ONLY a 2 year term, his cycle would be as follows:

ELECTED     TERM PERIOD     Pashinski’s Term for CV
    2006                 07-08                             1
    2008                 09-10                             2
    2010                 11-12                             3
    2012                 13-14                             4
    2014                 15-16                             5    if he wins

In all fairness to the Citizens Voice, it’s easy to mistake how long Mr. Pashinski has actually been in Harrisburg, as he's done so LITTLE for the people he represents. Re-electing Pashinski is like hiring the Invisible Man as a door greeter at Wal-Mart.

From the comment section of the Citizens Voice

Mike Barnes has the RIGHT idea.

Don’t be as dumb as the Voice: VOTE 4 Betsy Summers, and get rid of the do nothings like Eddie Day Pashinski…..

Don’t Blow Smoke Up My @$$!!!!

For those of you in attendance at last night’s City Council meeting, you know that the city is refinancing THREE Bonds

24 Million Needed, Not to exceed 31 Million
3 Million Needed, Not to exceed 6 Million
1.8 Million Needed, Not to exceed 3 Million

The 2 daily newspapers covered the meeting, but only one accurately reported on what happened, but don’t take my word for it read both, and decide who reported what.

Thank you Times Leader for sending a reporter to our council meetings, and Thank you Citizens Voice for sending a warm body.  OK, I know that’s unfair and uncalled for, RIGHT?

Seriously read both articles.

It’s as if the Times Leader attended the Wilkes-Barre City Council meeting, and the Voice, well, God knows what meeting they were at.

Councilman George Brown asked if the ordinances could make it clear that the city was not borrowing new money. Said Leighton: “No money from this bond refinancing is going into the general fund.”

  • OK so then why not be clear about nearly 29 Million needed, NOT 40 as requested?

City resident Frank Sorick asked that the bond refinancing be given more time for review because the details of the ordinances were not released until a few hours before the meeting. “For that reason alone I would ask that this motion be tabled and go no further until the public has the chance to digest what is being jammed down our throat once again,” he said.

  • Why not release the ordinances days prior to the meeting?

Could it have anything to do with the fact that when Lie-A-Ton first took office the city’s overall debt was around $60 Million TOTAL, and today we are close to $110 Million? So what took the city a lifetime to accumulate, Lie-A-Ton doubled in just 10 short years, but hey we have GOOD CREDIT RATING.

From the comments of the Times Leader, Bill "Danger" Robinson

FYI: Standard and Poor's an "A" is not the highest rating but rather the third highest. An "A" is deemed "somewhat more likely to be affected by adverse business conditions than are insurers with higher ratings."

The city used some money improperly?

Once again thank you Times Leader
The Times Leader reporting that the auditor general found yet another problem with the city’s fuel account.

“The report also notes the city used some money improperly”, and the city responded with “we did not realize project approval was needed. We will comply in the future.”

One again the city claiming ignorance when caught with their pants down, but wait wasn't this supposed to be experienced leadership? How in the world could someone who has been in the mayors office for over 10 years, and a councilman for several years before that be soooo darn STUPID?

There is a difference between a clerical error and intentional fraud.

Greco TWO, Hawkeye ZERO

For those of you keep score that is the true Wilkes-Barre surveillance camera scorecard, and you can bet Greco’s camera system cost far less than the $10,483.87 per camera, price Hawkeye has spent, (with NO results, I might add).

Just to be clear Hawkeye has squandered roughly $7,000,000.00 SEVEN MILLION DOLLARS,  and has NEVER released ONE photo to the public. Some are arguing that’s because Hawkeye has NEVER captured a single photo of crime, while others say “if you want to get away with murder, do you killing under a Hawkeye camera where no one can see you”.

If you're one of the few, who doesn't feel we've tossed quite enough good money down the Hawkeye rabbit hole yet, then you’ll likely appreciate the new $600,000.00 influx of cash flowing into Hawkeye from the Gaming Grants. Although $600,000.00 may seem like a fortune to hardworking Wilkes-Barre folk, it’s only a fraction of the $1,501,000.00 Hawkeye requested.

I suppose it takes a boatload of cash to produce ZERO images.

Is the District Attorney in bed with the CITY?

One might think the Fed’s storming the City Police Station several times during Chief Dessoye’s reign, followed by the arrests of TWO city police officers, involved in the soon to be huge, Wilkes-Barre Employees Federal Credit Union scandal just might be enough to sway any honest politician from posing for photo opts or making public statements of support for the soon to be ex Thief of Police.

But then again this is Luzerne County…

The Citizens Voice is reporting:

Luzerne County District Attorney Stefanie Salavantis said after working with him for over two and a half years, she wishes Dessoye the best.

“He’s been nothing but professional, and we’ve had a wonderful working relationship,” she said. “He’s going to be missed. He is loved in the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department. I’m happy for him and his family.”

WOW Just WOW….

Please remember these statements next election cycle, and as always

Gazette Cartoons Truly Amazing

King Lie-A-Ton Pilfering the Pump
If you've not seen the September edition of the Independent Gazette, then you're truly missing out on all the great cartoons, and I know great cartoons.

You can grab your Gazette FREE of charge at your local Turkey Hill, or at one of their NEW honor boxes located throughout the city.

FREE honor box
The new Gazette honor boxes, are all baring a very funny cartoon, depicting a Mom pointing her finger, and the caption "Your mom reads the Gazette, Act accordingly". The caption likely a warning to the politically corrupt, and the worst part their mothers probably do read the Gazette, if for no other reason, than to see if their child is once again subject to another federal investigation.

Lackawanna County Judge Margaret Moyle
One might think that a private citizen can attend court as an observer, and the press could also attend, but in Lackawanna County, one would be wrong. If your sporting your Muckraker t-shit not only are you considered a known trouble maker, AKA Muckraker, but your likely to be ejected for allegedly recording the proceedings, even though NO ONE has EVER produced a copy of said recording.

Now it is rumored that Lackawanna County is considering implementing a court dress-code in an effort to ban Muckraker t-shirts from court, but my guess is Lou, and company will find a way to print Muckraker on Hats, Ties, Jackets, Pins, even Briefcases, or Cell Phone Covers.

The Muckraker Timeline

The Gazette Staff, TRUE Muckrakers
That photo just about sums up why the politically corrupt can't stand the Gazette, and due everything in their power to diminish, or dismiss the success of the Gazette.

Just a few politically corrupt quotes, regarding the Gazette:

King Lie-A-Ton: "nobody reads that paper".

Lehighton School Board President Gloria Bowman: "contrary to what you've read in the Gazette, this spending plan is the only option".

Thief of Police Dessoye: It’s all just rumors, and gossip and muckraking,’ Dessoye said

At the end of the day the Gazette has successfully brought to light that which the politically corrupt would prefer remain in darkness, and for that reason alone they will continue to criticize in the hopes that your one of the few that hasn't a clue.

For the rest please consider taking out a Gazette Subscription. For less than FIVE BUCKS a month, it will not only ensure that you NEVER miss a trick, but it will help the Gazette do what the Gazette does, EXPOSE CORRUPTION....

Hawkeye BLIND

One might argue that a security camera couldn’t possible catch every single crime, but how about 300 cameras worth about 7 Millions Dollars that have NEVER caught A SINGLE CRIME????

That is exactly what we have with the multimillion dollar money grab we in Wilkes-Barre know as Hawkeye Security Solutions, the citywide network of worthless cameras, but don’t take my word for it, research any case, and you’ll find that if video was produced it was from private security cameras, NOT Hawkeye, even in cases where a much more expensive Hawkeye camera was right next to a less expensive private working camera.

The latest proof of the Hawkeye Money Pilfering Scheme is evident, on Friday night, when some nut went on a rampage, damaging 40 cars, and taking out the windows at the Times Leader Newspaper building all within sight of several cameras, as reported by the Times Leader.

Per the Times Leader "Despite city surveillance cameras at nearly every downtown intersection, city police said Monday they have no suspects in a vandalism spree that damaged at least 40 vehicles and windows at The Times Leader printing facility, all within 300 yards of the city police department."

Need I say more?

DuhSoye out

For those of you who didn’t quite believe the news when it was first reported by The Wilkes-Barre Independent Gazette we @ WUWB would like to point out that they (the Gazette) were 100% CORRECT once again….

In fact we haven’t been able to locate a story where they were wrong….

But I digress, let’s move on to the story at hand, DuhSoye is leaving WBPD, for greener pastures at Kings College. A position likely bribed and paid for via all the tax FREE property Kings has been able to acquire under this unbelievable regime.

As I recall when the Gazette first broke this story, just last Tuesday 8/26/14, neither the Mayor (King Lie-A-Ton) nor the Thief of Police would confirm the story.

In fact the Mayor said:

Mayor Thomas Leighton said today he has not received a resignation letter from Dessoye, nor has Dessoye spoken to him about leaving.

  • “As of today, Aug. 27, I do not have a resignation letter,”

King Lie-A-Ton’s talking head, City spokeswoman Liza Prokop was also unaware of the situation, and said there is nothing she could confirm as of this morning.

Even the Thief of Police himself went into hiding, as the Times Leader reported on Friday 8/29/14 “Wilkes-Barre Police Chief Gerard Dessoye won’t talk about possible departure”, Dessoye even issued a NO comment through city spokeswoman Liza Prokop, per the Times Leader.

Yet today Lie-A-Ton issues a press release saying DuhSoye will be gone by September 14, 2014, goodness did he even give you a TWO WEEKS notice?

Why is the Chief hiding?

The Independent Gazette Newspaper reported Wednesday morning that Wilkes-Barre Chief of Police Gerard E. Dessoye has accepted a position at King’s College and will be stepping down as chief of the WBPD. Since that time the Times Leader has done everything in its power to confirm the Gazette’s story. The city however is stonewalling now TWO newspapers. Some townsfolk may have accepted the stonewalling of the monthly paper, but how about the Thief of Police hiding behind the city’s spokes joke?

“Dessoye’s no comment was issued in the afternoon through city spokeswoman Liza Prokop”

  • Hum why is the Chief in hiding?
  • What’s with all the secrecy?

Notice King’s Collage was ever so careful not to LIE, they merely bent the truth: King’s College spokesman John McAndrew confirmed Wednesday there is an open position for the director of campus safety and security.

“As of today, the position has not been filled,” McAndrew said.

  • As of today you say??

Notice not one person has refuted the Gazette’s story!

The Times Leader did note that: “The story broke less than a week after a federal indictment alleged a city police officer and a former city officer were involved in fraudulent loans made by the Wilkes-Barre City Employees Federal Credit Union.”

OK perhaps that’s the reason neither the Chief nor Kings wanted to be forthcoming.

If not for that loudmouth monthly pain in Lie-A-Tons backside (The Gazette), a few weeks would have passed, the chief would have quietly slipped out from under the rug where he’s currently held up, out the door, scurried a few blocks over, and by the time anyone noticed the weekly shipment of Vodka being delivered to a new location, well perhaps this FBI thing might be yesterday’s news, but instead, Thank you WBIG, and Times Leader….

Duck when it hits the fan...

The day many LAG victims have been waiting for is upon us. Leo Glodzik (LAG Towing owner), and 2 city police officers (Former WB officer Tino Ninotti and current officer Jason Anthony) have been arrested, along with some employees at the Wilkes-Barre City Federal Credit Union.

Folks around town are saying "The Castle in Wilkes-Barre is beginning to crumble", and perhaps their right, but remember Leo, and these two cops are merely symptoms of a much larger infection plaguing our city. Leo, nor those 2 cops had the power, or intelligence needed to mastermind, and employ the network of corruption needed to pull off the scheme they were conducting, without help from the Thief of Police, (who may be resigning very soon to take the job at King’s College, as head of campus security), and Mayor (who should be arrested with Leo), overlooking the mountain of complaints from outraged citizens like Mark Robbins, who called for help when Leo was gouging them.

Who will replace Duh-Soye as Thief of Police, should King's actually stoop so low, you may be asking, well Wake Up Wilkes Barre has it on good authority that Robert Hughes will be promoted. Now you may already be familiar with Mr. Hughes, and perhaps he sold you (the allegedly stolen) car in your drive way, when he was moonlighting at A-1 Auto, the very same lot where Leo liquidated car's from his auto scam at LAG.

Whatever the case there’s more to this story, and Leo, 2 Cops, employees of the credit union, are just the tip of the iceberg, so hold on Wilkes-Barre, breath slowly, and keep those fans OFF, because we don’t want to be splattered by the next round of crap being lofted at City Hall.

The Wait and See Approach?

At Tuesday Night’s City Council work session King Lie-A-Ton told city council that yes the owner of the city's exclusive towing contract Leo Glodzik is a convicted thief, and yes the arbitrator ruled that the city could FIRE Our Leo the second he was found guilty but were going to wait and hope that Leo can weasel out of this mess somehow, and when, or if he does the city will take him back with open arms.

The Times Leader reported: Leighton reported to council regarding the city’s contract with LAG Towing, which has been suspended. He said LAG owner, Leo A. Glodzik, was found guilty in his court case and has filed an appeal.

Leighton assured council that Glodzik and his company no longer work for the city, but any final decision should be made at the end of the legal process.

  • Hello Lie-A-Ton per the contact, arbitrator, and laws of this Commonwealth you are JUSTIFIED in firing your boy-toy….

So don’t insult the intelligence of your Bobbleheads, nor the citizens of our shattered city, (thanks to the havoc you and your buddy Leo have unleashed on its residents and guests), by saying you’re waiting for the end of the legal process to arrive, when it has months ago, and by the way the District Attorney believes that the judge may deny Glodzik’s appeal, and then what?

Help Wanted @ City Hall

It is with a heavy heart we post this notice. As of Friday Wilkes-Barre City’s former spokes joke, Municipal Affairs Manager Drew Mc-Laugh-Lin has left the city, according to several sources who asked not to be identified. The reason given for Mc-Laugh-Lin’s departure was to pursue law school. Imagine our surprise, Drew Mc-Laugh-Lin a Liar…

At any rate the city is now stuck between a rock and a hard place, as Drew leaves behind an unfillable void at City Hall. After all many of us still have no idea what his job description was, what he actually did, or why he was hired in the first place, but that aside we @ WUWB are attempting to help, by offing the FREE online job posting below, in an effort to assist the city in its nationwide candidate search, as they try desperately to fill Drew’s shoes.

  • Work with all media outlets to mislead, misdirect, or cause to cover up any and all affairs.

Convicted thief “LEO” appeals

"I Believe" we now know why the King is so reluctant to FIRE his lapdog Leo.  Perhaps they are attempting to redefine the meaning of the arbitrator’s decision, allowing the city to FIRE Leo in the event that he was convicted, and he WAS.

On May 15, 2014 Leo was found GUILTY of theft by unlawful taking!

And back in January the arbitrator, former Luzerne County Judge Lewis Wetzel said "Anything other than a full acquittal is ground for termination,"

Yet Leo is still the city’s exclusive tower, yes, yes he is suspended, however if, and I know it’s a BIG if, but, if he is acquitted upon appeal, is that ground for his main squeeze (King Lie-A-Ton) to reinstate his ring of corruption, and even offer loss of wages to poor Leo’s claim to fame?

Neyhard said something….

For those of you who haven’t a clue, The Wilkes-Barre Area School District voted 5-0 to end Service Electric Cable Televisions broadcast of sporting events at city schools, because broadcaster Rob Neyhard made statements about the rising crime in and around our city A YEAR AGO

Neyhard said “I wouldn’t want to send my kids to GAR, nor teach at GAR due to the crime in that area.”

It was true then, and true NOW!!!

According the Citizens Voice the issue of halting SECTV’s broadcast of sporting events came after board member Dino Galella made the motion to authorize the football broadcasts. Denise Thomas responded with objections, noting comments that “chastised our kids on air” and spread “negativity.”

  • OK now I must admit that I’m just a simple blogger from T-Town here but telling the truth about rising crime in our city, and stating concerns for the safety of the students/teachers who attend one of our city schools hardly seems like “chastised our kids on air” and spread “negativity.”, but then again this is Wilkes-Barre, and anything you say can and will be spun against you.

What amazes me is that a district know for corruption, that is about to award a multi-billion dollar, new school contract to one of the King’s favorite campaign donors is all of a sudden so worried about its public image that it would resurrect comments from a YEAR AGO, and inaccurately spin them so they could justify punishing the very kids they claim to be representing.

Seriously, who is punished by this action?
  • Rob Neyhard? NO!!! He did NOTHING wrong!
  • Service Electric Cable Television? NOT EVEN A LITTLE BIT, it costs them more to air the game, as a public service than it’s worth I’ll bet!
  • The Kids? YOU BET!!! Without media exposure, there is less chance of talent scouts seeing them in action!
  • Their loved ones? FOR SURE!!! Grandma, Grandpa, who simply can’t get to the half-assed constructed stadium, and while I’m at it, why is that stadium so screwed up, you wonder? It’s because the board squandered the grants given to fund the TOTAL refit of the stadium, and lost part of the funding for not acting in a timely fashion.

But let’s not talk about real issues like corruption, nepotism, playing fast and loose with the taxpayers money, or the failing scores on the state standards, at a Wilkes-Barre Area School Board meeting, let’s instead dredge up nonsense from a YEAR AGO, and spin it so far from the truth that we can’t even remember who said what about whom. Yet we can certainly rest assured that someone MUST have said something, that was later spun into something that it was never intended to be, all in an effort to divert attention from the real issues.
